The four current posts

IRS notice in the mail. A scary-looking IRS letter usually has a 30-day or 60-day window to respond. The post walks through the most common notice types (CP2000, CP14, CP504, Letter 226-J), what they mean, and what your response options are. Reading this first will turn the letter from a panic moment into a manageable task.

LLC vs S-corporation. The most common question Amanda gets from new small-business owners. The post explains when an S-corp election makes sense (typically once self-employment income clears a certain threshold), how to file Form 2553, what "reasonable salary" means, and how QBI interacts with the choice.

Minister housing allowance. Section 107 housing allowance has specific designation, documentation, and substantiation requirements that pastors and church boards often miss. The post walks through the rules, what to actually do, and the SECA self-employment tax wrinkle that often surprises new ministers.
