Book a Call
Schedule a calm first conversation with Amanda at Handled Tax and Advisory. The call is free, lasts about 30 minutes, and covers what you need help with, how the practice works, and whether year round Memberships, project advisory, or one time tax preparation fits your situation. No pressure, no sales pitch, no surprise pricing afterward.

A calm first conversation
We will talk through what’s going on, what you need help with, and what level of support makes sense.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just a steady first conversation.
How the intro call works
The first call is 20 minutes, free, and run by Amanda directly. It is a scoping conversation rather than a sales pitch — the goal is to figure out whether Handled Tax is the right fit for your situation before either of us commits to an engagement.
What to have ready
- A rough description of your tax situation: W-2 employee, 1099 contractor, S-corp owner, multi-state, real estate investor, retiree, etc.
- Any specific questions or concerns — an IRS notice you received, a missed deduction you only recently realized, a major life event (marriage, divorce, sale of a home, business sale).
- If you're switching from a prior preparer, your two most recent prepared returns (federal and state) so we can review what was done.
- Your timeline. Are you trying to file by April 15? An extended October deadline? Filing back returns? Planning ahead for next year?
What happens on the call
- First 5 minutes: a quick overview of your situation in plain language.
- Next 10 minutes: we walk through what an engagement would look like for you specifically — which forms apply, what documents are needed, what the timeline looks like, and what the fee range looks like for a return like yours.
- Last 5 minutes: your questions. About the practice, about Amanda's PTIN-only credential, about TaxDome, about how communication works year-round — whatever matters to you.
What this call is not
- It is not a tax-advice consultation. Specific tax questions require an engagement letter, document review, and time. The intro call is scoping.
- It is not a hard sell. If your situation is outside Handled Tax's scope — large multi-state corporate returns, tax-court representation, certain niche international situations — Amanda will tell you on the call and refer you to a fit.
- It is not committing to anything. After the call you decide whether to proceed; we do not chase.
After the call
If we agree to move forward, you receive an engagement letter via TaxDome (the secure client portal) along with a documents checklist. You upload documents through TaxDome rather than email — financial documents shouldn't ride email. The portal also handles e-signature, secure messaging during the engagement, and invoice payment.
If we don't move forward, you go on with your day. We don't add you to a mailing list, send follow-up sequences, or share your information with anyone.
